I was telling one of my knitting friends how that shirt I gave you was big on me in the back and I showed her the photo of you wearing it (where your head doesn't show). She said, "It looks so good on you!" She thought your body was mine from the photo.

I did a little over half of the New York City Ballet workout last night. I got a few cramps, but the workout makes you stretch a lot, so they weren't too bad. I'll try it again tonight and see how far I get. The ab workout is especially difficult because you don't get to take a break for that whole section, you are basically up in a crunch the whole time and don't get to go down- owie!

I tried to go for a walk last night, even though I've been having weird muscle cramps. By the time I got to the end of my street, my calves and shins were so cramped, I couldn't move my ankles. Managed to get home, my legs were blue with some red patches. When I took off my shoes, my toes and soles were fire red. As soon as I got my shoes off, my feet swelled up and stayed swollen all night. I had my doctor check my medications and none cause muscle cramps. I go back in a few weeks, I guess I'll make them run more tests.

Okay people, I need to know what you are doing because I haven't lost any more weight and I am back up 2. I am really scared about going into next week. We will have Mexican, Italian, and Fried. What am I going to do? I need to lose about 5 more to fit my pants.
When I workout I am always hungry and the weight doesn't drop off as fast as when I don't' workout.

18 days
My plan:Okay so there are 18 days before I go to Louisiana. (I will visit with you guys on Saturday). So when I weighed myself this morning I was two pounds heavier (4 pounds downs) If that was just water weight and I am really down 6 and I have a little over two weeks before my trip than I could loss 4 -5 more pounds (drinking lots of water) and I will have reached my second goal of 10 pounds. I read on a WW blog that people usually loss 30 pounds in 3-4 months on WW.
The problem: I actually have to do it. If I follow my points and drink lots of water then I can drop 2 pounds easy. But I have to follow my points. I am starting work next week with meetings all day and lunch will be provided. That will make it extra hard. And if I continue to drink my water then I will have to pee during the meetings.
The benefits: I will be able to fit my clothes! I will be 5 pounds lighter than my wedding weight ( the weight is in different places though)! I would be able to breath in a size 10-8 And I would have reached my second goal and would only have one left!
Please offer words of encouragement!
Tonight will be a big challenge. Kajuan wants fried pork chops!

Biggest Loser
Sean and a few of his co-workers are doing biggest loser at work. He's lost 10 pounds so far. Pretty soon he'll be skinnier than me. I feel like that commercial where the cartoon guy keeps getting skinnier and the cartoon woman keeps inflating.
I'm sure my medication is mostly to blame because I gained almost 30 pounds since I started taking it. I have to wait till September to get it changed because I won't have insurance until then.

I may as well have quit. I've been driving back and forth to Lafayette about two days a week for work and eating fast food on the way. Last weekend I was up two pounds. My great trick for the beach was to buy a tankini to hide my muffin top. I had to get a "large" for the bottom. I've been trying to count calories and either walking, yoga, or lifting weights. Somehow it's just sneaking up on me. I noticed yesterday that my feet were swollen so I might need to check my blood pressure to make sure its not edema or something. I started taking vitamin b12 b/c K-la says it gives you energy and doesn't mess with your heart.
One of the medicines I take makes you gain weight, but another is supposed to make you lose. I might have to see about increasing the dose on the one that makes you lose b/c the other one is making me too tired anyway. (The lose weight one is supposed to give you energy to counter the fat/sleepy one.)
If I could just fit comfortably in all the clothes I bought when I first gained the weight, I'd be happy. I really don't want to have to buy more if the first set of "fat clothes" get too tight. And they are getting tight.

Does any one have any good advice on how to get through the weekend. I do good all week but then gain back a pound or two over the weekend. This week we have a party to go to on Saturday then our Anniversary on Monday.
Any advice?
