I may as well have quit. I've been driving back and forth to Lafayette about two days a week for work and eating fast food on the way. Last weekend I was up two pounds. My great trick for the beach was to buy a tankini to hide my muffin top. I had to get a "large" for the bottom. I've been trying to count calories and either walking, yoga, or lifting weights. Somehow it's just sneaking up on me. I noticed yesterday that my feet were swollen so I might need to check my blood pressure to make sure its not edema or something. I started taking vitamin b12 b/c K-la says it gives you energy and doesn't mess with your heart.
One of the medicines I take makes you gain weight, but another is supposed to make you lose. I might have to see about increasing the dose on the one that makes you lose b/c the other one is making me too tired anyway. (The lose weight one is supposed to give you energy to counter the fat/sleepy one.)
If I could just fit comfortably in all the clothes I bought when I first gained the weight, I'd be happy. I really don't want to have to buy more if the first set of "fat clothes" get too tight. And they are getting tight.

okay so i just figures out that you can add to a post without posting to the site itself. Shannon I have been kicked off! YOu need to send another invite.

Anyway, I am not doing good at all. The past two days have been horrible. I can't find it in my to start over again, but if i don't i will need new pants!

Shannon I have information on weight watchers so you don' t have to join. Go to Dotti's weight lost zone and she give you everything. I also have the information to figure out how many oints you can have and a website where you inter in the calories, fat and fiber and it will give you the points of that food.
Invite me and i will share the rest.

i think the weight watchers could help you shan just knowing that u can have a happy meal for 500 or so cals while a regular meal is like 1000 some thing will help a lot.

i used to take the kiddies out and race with them around the yard and it would wear them out and get me some exercise in as well. or just go and kick the soccer ball around. you need some cardio that yoga just wont give ya

A happy meal is 9 points. I get 22 a normal day is: ceral (3)or slim fast(3), a pear or someother fruit(2), South Beach Wraps (3, popcorn (1) and supper(10); popeyes shrimp basket is 7; thin crust pizza is 4.5etc...
When I do it correctly I can really make my points work for me.
I went try one some of my school clothes and I am back on track. Point counting starts back tomorrow!

Shannon talk to your doctor about the medicine. That was what made me gain all that weight when I was at Romeville. Some brands are worse than others. Well I am back to pre cruise weight so that is -5 and my room is so hot I have to force myself to eat both lunch and supper but I bought a bunch of south beach wraps....and a case of water to school.
