Great post on HuffPo today on how to tell if you're an emotional eater (duh, aren't we all?)
Her solution? Have more fun. Find the things you love to do and do them so you don't have time to get bored or lonely. I will have to make sure I don't trade compulsive (or drunk *ahem, Kayla*) shopping for compulsive eating.

Had a stomach flu all day. Just thinking about food makes me gag. So please tell me how I still managed to gain two pounds?

Treadmill at 9PM!

I think I'm losing my mind. I could not go to bed without getting my run in for yesterday. Now, if I could only apply that motivation to not eating cookies and french bread with butter for breakfast or maybe doing some upper body exercise on my non-running days.

I'm Back!
Monday, February 2, 2009
I've finished traveling for now, so I'm trying to get back on track. I really ate too much on this last trip and got zero exercise. The only problem is the muscle cramps seem to be coming back even though I'm still off the pill. I'm going to see if taking a multivitamin will help.

No one is posting any more, do we wait until the next family gathering to get back on track?

Beleive in yourself

Believe in Yourself
Set your standards high
You deserve the best.
Try for what you want
And never settle for less.
Believe in yourself
No matter what you choose.
Keep a winning attitude
And you can never lose.
Think about your destination
But don't worry if you stray
Because the most important thing
Is what you've learned along the way.
Take all that you've become
To be all that you can be.
Soar above the clouds
And let your dreams set you free.
